Senior Property Auditor, Ipswich £26,500-£30,000


Our client, a leading company specialising in financial services, are looking for a Senior Property Auditor to join their team. We are looking for candidates who have strong legal experience and can work within a high pressured environment. If you are looking for fantastic career progression and a company who are keen to develop from within then this could be the role for you. Our client boasts a fantastic social scene and regularly you can catch staff at a quiz night after work with their team or even going abseiling!

The ideal candidate would be someone with an experienced conveyancer or a property professional. Land law and the risk associates of property management knowledge is essential. The role will sit within the inhouse legal property team who work alongside other entities to provide a seamless property management of their portfolio.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Review, analyse and interpret property legal documents, identifying risk & liability that falls outside company standards, identifying and assisting with the implementation of solutions to record and mitigate risk.
  • Use technical knowledge and analytical skills to identify and resolve where applicable ongoing SIPP and property management issues arising from the file audits to ensure the smooth and compliant management of property.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with internal and external customers including property tenants, solicitors, lenders, surveyors, SIPP investors and financial advisers.
  • Assist the Team Manager to ensure a high level of quality and accuracy is maintained.
  • Provide coaching to develop team members and ensure a quality review of each property is completed.

This role would suit a residential/commercial conveyancer or other property professional with a sound understanding of land law and the risks associates with property management. It is essential that you hold a professional qualification in one of the following; Property Solicitor/Legal Executive/Licenced Conveyancer/RICS etc. or equivalent.
