My client has a fantastic opportunity within their Colchester office for an experienced Sales Account manager, where you can divide your time between the offices and home/on the road to develop new business.


This is a challenging Sales role, which also entails customer, partner, and corporate sales responsibilities. The primary responsibility of the sales role is to enable, drive and elevate the company’s position and penetration into the allocated Territory. The Sales role will be internally and externally focused on functional operations in support of customer sales and market requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the implementation of strategic initiatives to accelerate growth in sales in the allocated Territory.

Duties Include:
• Development of new Business and current retail/distribution partners
• Responsible for sales and attainment agreed targets in given area
• Protecting quality of database and 1-1 meetings
• Develop personal skills in all Company systems for a successful completion of all Company objectives
• Feed the UK Country Manager with market data, information and sales activities on daily/weekly/monthly level
• Monitor/challenge Key accounts on pricing, margin, stock, category management and communication
• Determine Trust strategy using sales out and market data combined with analysing stock figures
• Fully utilise and exploit all company tools to optimise Sales opportunities
• Advisory role to your own Key accounts
• Develop knowledge/skill/initiative by using company tools
• Maintaining email/msn liaisons with customers

Skills & Experience Required:
• Educated to Degree level (preferred)
• Minimum of 3-5 year Sales experience required
• Affinity with computer technology
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills, ability to build relationships at multiple levels to work toward solutions, excellent leadership and consensus building skills
• Clean driving license
• Must possess high levels of drive and ambition
