Time Appointments are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a leading local business who is currently seeking to appoint an exceptional Logistics/Purchase Order Co-Ordinator to join their successful, team orientated sales department.

The successful candidate will form part of the busy, customer focused sales department, where they will take on full responsibility for processing sales/purchase orders and for liaising with transport companies and customers to organise and schedule deliveries to tight deadlines.
- Preparing quotations
- Processing sales/purchase orders

To be considered for this excellent opportunity, applicants must possess extensive experience of processing purchase orders, and a solid work history which will have been gained from within a sales support capacity or preferably from a logistics/transport environment. You will need to be customer focused and have a proactive nature when meeting the needs and expectations of customers.
It is essential that you have the ability to take responsibility for your own workloads and to show initiative. Candidates must be proficient in the primary MS packages, particularly Excel. You will need to demonstrate the relevant skills whilst being able to show tenacity, assertiveness whilst remaining polite and courteous at all times. You must be able to communicate at all levels and be confident, competent and professional in your work.
