Job Description

Our client, a growing construction-based business, are currently recruiting for a Health & Safety Advisor to join their thriving team on a 12-month fixed term contract.

 

The successful applicant will be rewarded with extensive benefits, a very competitive salary, and the opportunity to gain further knowledge in the industry with a fixed term contract – with the potential to lead to a permanent position (although not guaranteed).

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating Health and safety measures
  • Working with clients in terms of project delivery
  • Guide and support H&S regulations
  • Writing risk assessments
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety policies and procedures
  • Liaise with contractors and stakeholders
  • Liaising with Clients and suppliers to obtain quotes, prepare invoicing and monitor timesheets.

 

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven H&S experience gained within the construction industry
  • Knowledge of construction industry databases.
  • Great report writing skills
  • Qualification in health and safety – TechIOSH or NEBOSH
  • Knowledge of the construction industry terminology.
  • Driving licence
