Time Appointments are currently recruiting on behalf of a Global Shipping Company who are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Inside Sales Coordinator to join a busy and fast-paced sales team.

 

This role involves supporting customer accounts, maintaining strong relationships, and helping ensure sales targets are achieved.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to client enquiries via email and telephone.
  • Prepare quotes by liaising with internal departments and negotiating with customers.
  • Follow up on new business leads and opportunities.
  • Work closely with the external sales team to provide daily support.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers within assigned sales areas or key accounts.
  • Handle sales administration, including creating and updating contracts, managing emails, resolving invoice queries, and addressing unrated shipments.
  • Develop an understanding of multiple trade lanes and a range of equipment types.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal departments such as customer services, finance, trade, and operations.
  • Attend customer meetings when required to support the external sales team and key account managers.
  • Provide cover for colleagues during holidays, sickness, or other absences.

 

Key Requirements:

  • Experience communicating with customers in a sales or customer service environment. Recent graduates, with a genuine interest in building a career within the industry may also be considered
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with both customers and internal teams.
  • Strong time-management abilities and confidence handling multiple tasks in a busy environment with tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team while remaining self-motivated.
  • A proactive attitude, enthusiasm for sales, and a drive to succeed.
