Job Description

Time Appointments are currently recruiting on behalf of a company based on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds, who are looking for an Accounts and Administrator Assistant. You must have proven experience in accounting and administrative role, preferably within a   similar industry.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage account processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to suppliers and vendors.
  • Maintain financial records using accounting software
  • Prepare and process sales invoices and payment requests.
  • Bank reconciliations.
  • Administer sales receipts.
  • Payroll using Opera 3.
  • Managing the company pension scheme.

 

Previous Skills & Experience:

  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero and Dext is essential.
  • Familiar or have used Opera 3 for payroll.
  • Familiar with the functions of sales financing.
  • Strong understanding of accounts processes and financial record management.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
