Job Description

We are delighted to be working on behalf of an excellent client based in Norwich looking to onboard a Financial Planner into their ever-growing team. This client offers a professional ongoing high-quality financial planning advice service, priding themselves on their core moral values to exceed expectations every time. If you are an experienced individual within the financial industry, this could be the role for you!

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build client and professional relationships, prospect and contact potential clients in accordance with the company’s business plan.
  • Write commercially viable levels of fee income.
  • Comply with the relevant Compliance, T&C and FCA rules at all times.
  • Keep up to date with all relevant product, legislative and technical changes.
  • Ensure sufficient client information is obtained to enable the appropriate research and analysis to be undertaken to ensure suitable recommendations are made in accordance with the client’s needs objectives.
  • Ensure client records are kept up to date and all supporting documentation is maintained.
  • Ensure all client reviews are carried out within timescales defined by the company and regulator.
  • Attain and maintain the required level of competence and standards of performance as required by the company.

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Level 4 financial services qualification
  • Evidence of commercial awareness of the financial service industry
  • Working knowledge and understanding of the financial compliance procedures
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and listening skills
  • The capability to explain complex information simply and clearly
  • Ability to network and establish relationships with clients and introducers
  • Ability to work in a team and individually
  • Excellent time management and decision-making skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good level of numeracy and IT skills
  • A flexible approach to work
