Job Description

Our client, one of the UK’s leading Insurers, are currently seeking a forward-thinking Insurance Customer Service Advisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for dealing with motor and household insurance policies, servicing the needs of their existing clients, whilst assisting in growing the business in a compliant and customer focused manner.

 

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with general queries from customers relating to insurance sales and customer service
  • Processing customer documentation and collecting premiums
  • Sales, Quotations & MTA’s
  • Assisting in prospecting and agency campaigns
  • Following internal procedures and industry regulations
  • Undertaking general office-based duties as required

 

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven experience of working within insurance, or a similar professional regulated environment
  • 5 GCSE passes at grade C or above including Maths and English  (or equivalent)
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with both clients and staff
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally
  • Enjoys working in a team and possesses excellent organisation skills
  • Ability to problem solve, where appropriate, and able to use own judgement to make decisions
  • Willingness to comply with internal and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent IT Skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
