Job Description

They are now seeking an experienced Motor Claims Manager to lead a remote team of skilled claims professionals, driving operational performance and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. As Motor Claims Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading a team of seniors and adjusters handling a range of motor claims, including complex and bodily injury cases. You’ll combine your technical expertise with strong leadership skills to ensure quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction are consistently achieved. You’ll play a key role in implementing best practice processes, using data to identify improvements, and fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth within your team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and support a team of remote motor claims professionals.
- Manage your own caseload, including complex and higher-value claims.
- Monitor performance, ensuring targets and compliance standards are met.
- Use data and insight to spot trends, improve processes, and boost efficiency.
- Monitor performance against SLAs and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal departments to deliver seamless client service.
- Handle escalated or complex cases, offering guidance and support to the team.
- Help recruit, train, and develop your team to reach their full potential.
About You
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience within insurance claims, ideally across motor, property, or liability lines.
- Proven experience managing or mentoring a team, ideally within a remote environment.
- Strong technical understanding of bodily injury and liability claims.
- CII Diploma (or working towards) preferred.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with a collaborative approach.
- Comfortable leveraging technology and analytics to enhance claims processes.
