Time Appointments are thrilled to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established business in Bury St Edmunds who are currently seeking to appoint a part time Purchase Ledger to join their successful team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a driven and independent company.
The days and hours could be flexible for the right candidate, but ideally 3 full days per week.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for Purchase ledger
- Posting Purchase Invoices to ledger
- Monitoring orders for outstanding invoices
- Dealing with queries as appropriate
- Communicating with suppliers regarding expected payments
- Checking supplier statements to purchase ledger and chase any missing invoices
- Assisting with ad-hoc administration processes within the business as required
Skills & Experience Required:
- The ideal candidate will have experience within a similar position and be looking to grow within the business
- Comfortable with Excel
- Sage Accounts experience
- Computer literate
- Good telephone manner & customer service skills
- Excellent communication
