Job Description

Time Appointments are delighted to be working with an Essex based Accountancy firm who are highly regarded and a successful accountancy, tax, and advisory firm of chartered accountants. Due to unprecedented growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Tax Senior into their Colchester office.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Management of a mixed portfolio of clients to include HNW, Directors, Self Employed, Subcontractors and Partnerships
  • Preparation of Tax Returns and self employed/Partnership accounts
  • Communicating directly with clients
  • Supporting the Tax Director with ad hoc advisory work
  • Capital Gains Tax work and 60 day advance filing experience for property
  • Dealing with the HMRC
  • Preparation of P11D’s

 

Requirements:

  • Practice experience is essential
  • Possess practical/technical knowledge of personal tax
  • Good IT skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in client facing roles
  • Confidence when communicating with stakeholders
  • Proactive
