Job Description

We are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of an award-winning business who are looking for a Purchasing Administrator to join their team in Ipswich.

 

You will be responsible for supporting purchasing for the company by assisting with sourcing, negotiation and purchasing goods and services to meet the company’s operational requirements. You will work closely with suppliers, internal and commercial team to ensure the best quality products are secured at the best prices.

 

Key Duties:

  • Raise purchase orders and ensure delivery of goods in a timely manner.
  • Monitor outstanding purchases.
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
  • Assess suppliers and negotiate prices.
  • Maintain good relationships with suppliers.
  • Provide administrative support to the purchasing and commercial teams.

 

Previous Skills & Experience:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
