Due to continued growth and success, our client is seeking a qualified Electrician or Electrical Engineer with a specialism in Solar PV to strengthen their expanding team based in Ipswich. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, forward-thinking renewable energy company at an exciting stage of development.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality installations and maintenance services across a range of domestic projects throughout East Anglia. You will be responsible for working on electrical systems including Solar PV installations, battery storage systems, and EV charging points, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of safety, compliance, and performance.

You will also be expected to diagnose electrical faults using specialist testing equipment, carry out remedial works, and provide effective, long-lasting solutions.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Extensive proven experience working as an Electrician or Electrical Engineer
• Hands on experience installing Solar PV and battery storage, including knowledge and experience with multiple brands
• Knowledge and experience of MCS requirements and paperwork
• Qualified to City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing) as a minimum
• The ability to accurately interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
• Full clean valid UK Driving Licence
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
