31st March/5th April: Gender Pay Gap Report (Applies to England, Scotland & Wales)
You will need to submit your 2021/22 gender pay gap information within one year of your snapshot date for employers with more than 250 employees.
The deadline for private companies is 5th April 2022 and the deadline for public sector organisations is 31st March 2022.
1st April: National Minimum Wage (NMW) Increases

3rd April Statutory Family – Related Pay Increase
Statutory family-related pay will increase from £151.97 to £156.66 per week.
6th April Statutory Sick Pay Increase
Statutory sick pay will increase from £96.35 to £99.35 per week.
6th April New Temporary Right – To – Work Checks Guidance
The end date for the temporary adjusted checks has now been deferred to 5th April 2022. New guidance on the right – to – work checks will be released by the government prior to 6th April 2022.
