  • UK Freight Sales Manager, Nationwide £30,000-£35,000

    An extremely successful international business, specialising in logistics and traffic management services, is currently recruiting for a highly dynamic and pro-active UK Freight Sales Manager to be responsible for field sales and client acquisition.

    The successful candidate will be fully responsible for managing their own corridors, which will be the routes of full loads between UK and France, Benelux but also Germany, Italy, Poland and other counties.

    To be considered for this exciting opportunity you must have operations experience gained from working within a trucking transport or road freight forwarding business, along with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in selling international full truckload services.

    Being fully responsible for the field sales and client acquisition nationwide of direct clients with regular FTL traffic, the successful candidate will need to be familiar with inside sales, cold calling, market mapping, pricing, tender management, upselling and cross sales. Therefore, strong numeracy skills and a keen eye for detail is required.

    As you will be visiting clients 3 days per week (as a minimum) and regularly reporting to the Group Sales Director, it is essential that you have the ability to work autonomously and can take responsibility for scheduling your own agenda.

    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are imperative.
